How to remove W32/Netsky-P manually?

  • • You will have to first disable the system restore.
  • • Next step would be for you to update other virus definitions, or restart your system in safe mode or you can scan the system and delete the viruses.
  • • You will have to click your Windows 'start' menu and then click 'search'.
  • • Click on 'all files and folders' if it shows pop-up box asking 'what do you want to search for?'
  • • You can select local hard drives, after typing W32/Netsky-P in the search box in order to delete it.
  • • After clicking on search if you find infected file, delete it immediately.

  • • You can go to the start menu and then to the Internet options.
  • • Under 'home page' you can select 'the general' or use 'default'.

  • • Firstly, go to start menu and select 'Run'.
  • • Secondly, type taskmgr.exe into the Run command box and click 'OK'. It can also be done by using CTRL+Shift+ESC keys.
  • • Next click on the processes tab and you will find W32/Netsky-P virus processing.
  • • Then right click on them and select 'End' process, in order to kill the virus.
